Green Casket Company offers 100% biodegradable caskets of solid pine, grown from sustainable forests within the State of North Carolina.  All caskets are crafted without the use of metal, plastics, toxins, stains or preservatives.
  
Green Casket Company will craft Special Orders to exact specifications, including your choice of any American grown hardwood including, but not limited to, the standard solid pine.  Please consult us for Special Order delivery times.

 We encourage our customers to be creative and to decorate our caskets with their own personalized touches in honor of the loved ones for whom they are used.  By so doing, the significance of the casket as a memorial is greatly enhanced.

Green Casket Company participates in many "Green" trade shows and it's owner, Kim Zorn, hospice R.N., offers workshops to local hospices, nursing home facilities, churches, synagogues and other community groups.  Our workshops provide valuable information regarding all end of life issues, including alternative options such as our green caskets, green burials, and hybrid cemeteries.  Through these workshops we are able to recommend and direct customers to those of you - funeral homes, green burial sites, traditional cemeteries, funeral directors - who make our green caskets available to the public.
