Located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, minutes from downtown Asheville, North Carolina, Green Casket Company is a family owned and operated business, created by an experienced Hospice Registered Nurse and a very talented wood worker who were brought together by their love and concern for the environment.

Green Casket Company offers 100% biodegradable caskets handcrafted from pine harvested exclusively from the sustainable forests of the local Blue Ridge Mountains.  Our caskets contain no metal nor toxins whatsoever and are offered to those who choose natural, simple and environmentally friendly options in death as well as in life.  We include in each casket an organic cotton muslin liner and pillow filled with pine-shavings.
